# Invoice PDF

> Customize LucentUI invoice PDF headers, accents, dates, watermarks, and notes.

LucentUI Editor registers a themed PDF renderer for Paymenter's invoice generation event.
Open **Invoice PDF** to configure its presentation.

## Header

| Style | Result |
| - | - |
| Accent Line | White header with a primary-color border |
| Colored | Primary-color header with light text |
| Dark | Dark header with light text |

Set **PDF Accent Colour** to override the theme primary color for invoices only. Leave it
empty to inherit the active LucentUI primary color.

## Layout and dates

Supported date formats are:

* `d M Y` → 15 Jan 2025
* `d/m/Y` → 15/01/2025
* `m/d/Y` → 01/15/2025
* `Y-m-d` → 2025-01-15

Enable the paid watermark to place a diagonal **PAID** mark on paid invoices.

## Footer and terms

Customize the thank-you message and optionally enable plain-text notes or payment terms.
Keep payment details concise and do not place secrets or private account credentials in
global invoice notes.

## Verification

Generate one unpaid and one paid invoice after changing PDF settings. Check line wrapping,
currency values, dates, payment history, notes, and the paid watermark. PDF rendering can
differ from browser rendering, so a storefront preview is not sufficient.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If themed PDF generation throws an exception, LucentUI logs the rendering failure so it
> can be diagnosed without changing Paymenter core files.
